If you'd like to celebrate a birthday or any other event here at GNS we have picnic tables and a great location for family friendly events.
We can not provide food and we ask that balloons are left at home since they can scare the animals.
Charcoal BBQ is allowed in designated areas.
We ask that parties start no later than 2PM as the Sanctuary closes at 4PM
Designed for schools, home schoolers, scouts, or any other group, GNS offers options for field trips. These are self-guided with an option for a picnic lunch on site. We ask for a 10:1 child:adult ratio and $5 per child. Depending on the day/time there may be an opportunity to have a chat with staff.
Come and visit GNS and be guided through the sanctuary as we tell you about our history and our animals. You may even to to have a one-on-one encounter with one of our residents.
Offered in the summer, camps incorporate age-appropriate activities to encourage discovery and appreciation of wildlife. Campers have the opportunity to make new friends, explore the Sanctuary and participate in games, crafts, tours, presentations, animal visits and more. Camps are well supervised with trained staff.
Space is limited, so register early!
As a 501(c)3 we manage most of our operation from donor, just like you. Any amount you can spare will help us feed, house, and keep healthy all 500 of our sanctuary residents.
